Mathew has dedicated his life to the justice system, amassing 30 years experience in criminal proceedings, investigations, advocacy and litigation.  A dedicated and driven professional he holds a Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Master of Laws and Diploma of Government (Investigations).
 
Mathew has practiced as a litigation lawyer for fifteen years, representing both private and government clients. 
As an expert litigator he makes regular appearances before the Magistrates, District, Supreme and Federal Courts, Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and the Queensland Civil, Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) and Fair Work Commission.

Mathew is trained as a solicitor advocate (solicitor equivalent of a barrister) and is trained to be in court conducting trials and making persuasive arguments to courts.  He has appeared before the Queensland Court of Appeal for the Commonwealth.  
 
Mathew is an admitted lawyer before the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He is a practicing Solicitor in the State of Queensland and a licensed Private Investigator. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society (MQLS) and a member of the Security Providers Association of Australia Ltd. 
 
Mathew is an expert in risk management and organisational governance. He has extensive qualifications and litigation experience in insolvency, director's duties, statutory demands and their defence, and disclosure obligations of directors.  Mathew is a former ATO litigator with 10 years' experience and an in-depth knowledge of ATO practices and procedures. 

Mathew's extensive legal knowledge, coupled with his investigative skills, makes him a potent asset and a formidable advocate for his clients.  He demonstrates respect to his clients and brings with him lived experience from an extensive criminal investigations and criminal defence background.
